A safe space
to find your way back to yourself.

SafeSpace is for women who have carried so much, stayed silent for so long, and had to adapt — and who feel it is time to reconnect with themselves, with greater clarity, a stronger voice, and a sense of safety.

Here you will find a trauma-informed space that respects your body, boundaries, and dignity, alongside practical resources: psychotherapy, quizzes, workbooks, meditations, and books written with respect for what it means to be human.

Sigiliul SafeSpace

A trauma-informed space. A safe space.

Here, your body, voice, boundaries, and dignity are respected. So is the impact that expectations of being a woman or a man, and painful relationships in childhood or adulthood, have had on your inner life.

You may be arriving here feeling exhausted, confused, and unsure.

Perhaps you have been made to doubt yourself. Perhaps you keep returning to relationships, reactions, or patterns that hurt. Perhaps your body is on alert, your voice has grown quieter, and you have ended up carrying too much on your own.

Here, you can begin to see a way forward.

To understand what has taken shape within you, what has protected you, what it costs you now, and what you can choose more consciously. To reconnect with your body, listen to your emotions, reclaim your voice, and build a life that feels more true to you.

Start here: discover what keeps repeating in your life.

I have created a gentle path for women who notice the same reactions, relationships, or choices recurring and want to understand what is happening within them. You can start with a free guide, continue with a quiz, and then explore more deeply with a workbook or in therapy.

Step 1

Download the free mini-guide

Why do I keep repeating the same patterns?
A mini-guide to help you understand what behavioral patterns are, how they develop, and what they are trying to protect within you.

Step 2

Take the quiz

Explore which pattern seems most active right now: adapting, controlling, withdrawing, painful relationships, or surviving by staying strong. Your result offers an initial map.

Step 3

Explore more deeply

Continue with a workbook if you would like to explore at your own pace. Choose a pattern, work through the exercises, and build a new sense of safety, step by step.

Step 4

Work with me in therapy

Therapy is an option when what you discover feels painful, overwhelming, or difficult to carry alone. We work with care for your nervous system, respect for what you have been through, and a focus on a life that feels more your own.

Explore therapy

This path is an invitation to self-exploration. If you are dealing with trauma, abusive relationships, intense anxiety, panic, a profound sense of being stuck, or deep distress, therapeutic support may be the right next step.

A safe space for women who have not been believed.

Some women come to therapy after years of being controlled, dismissed, shamed, or made to doubt their own perception. For me, safety means not adding blame to trauma, and not asking a body that has been hurt to behave as though nothing happened.

We work with care for your nervous system, returning to the here and now when emotions become too much, with respect for your experience and your right to no longer live in relationships that diminish you.

Here, you do not have to defend yourself to be believed.

Whether you are a woman or a man, you are not reduced to the roles you were raised to fill. You are welcomed as a person, with a history, a body, emotions, dignity, and the right to live more freely.

You may see only your exhaustion. I see how much you have carried.

I see what it has cost you, how you have changed, the resilience you have developed, and the ways you have learned to keep going.

You are the expert on your own life. You will identify what you want, what you no longer want, and what a good life looks like for you. I can offer questions, options, techniques, and my presence.

Sometimes I may tell you that you are allowed to breathe. At other times, I may remind you to breathe. Together, we can begin to imagine a path towards a life that feels like your own.

For the first time, I found a space where my perception was validated rather than questioned.

I am Ramona Carmen Cotruș, psychologist and psychotherapist.

I work with people who have experienced painful relationships, abuse, betrayal, divorce, shame, guilt, loss, anxiety, anger, feeling stuck, and times when they no longer recognized themselves.

In my work, I aim to bring together human presence, psychological knowledge, and techniques suited to the person in front of me.

Read about me

I want you to leave with more than information.

I want you to leave with more hope. With a sense that there are explanations for what you are experiencing, that your reactions have made sense, that patterns can be understood, and that you can reclaim your voice.

Would you like to stay in touch?

From time to time, I can send you letters about relationships, the body, emotions, shame, hope, and finding your way back to yourself. Sometimes they are more personal than what I share on the website.
